Business Analyst
Movera is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Technology team. This is a pivotal role focused on the design and delivery of external-facing client portals and the ongoing optimisation of our CRM ecosystem. Working at the intersection of law and technology, you will collaborate with legal professionals and technical stakeholders to translate high-level requirements into seamless digital products. You’ll play a key part in improving the client experience for mortgage brokers and law firms alike.

Key Responsibilities
Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Lead requirements workshops, user research sessions, and process mapping activities, particularly for external client-facing portals and digital services.
Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business rules ready for development teams.
Analyse existing systems, workflows, and data flows within legal processes to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
Act as the bridge between commercial/legal stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity, traceability, and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
Assess and review existing CRM capabilities and future requirements
Support UX/UI initiatives in shaping intuitive portal interfaces and user journeys based on research and feedback.
Prepare documentation including Business Requirement Documents, process diagrams, user guides, and release notes.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product demos in an Agile or hybrid delivery environment.
Assist QA with test case validation, UAT coordination, and sign-off criteria.
Monitor product performance post-launch and contribute to continuous enhancement roadmaps.
Ensure compliance with legal, data security, and industry standards relevant to technology in the legal sector.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a technology-driven environment
Experience working in, or directly with, the legal or professional services sector
Strong background in external-facing portals, client platforms, or digital self-service solutions
Skilled in requirements elicitation, stakeholder management, and business process analysis
Familiarity with Agile delivery methods (Scrum / Kanban) and tools such as Jira, DevOps, or similar
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience working with internal and external technology consultants and detailing front-end functionality is desirable
Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and data flows beneficial
Understanding of data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance obligations in the legal sector (e.g. GDPR, ISO standards)
Desirable Experience
Experience with external facing portals
Exposure to legal automation, workflow management, or document generation tools
Experience supporting SaaS or cloud-based platform delivery
Certification in Business Analysis
Experience producing wireframes or supporting UI prototyping tools
