Group Financial Accountant

We’re looking for a newly qualified ACA to join our finance team as a Group Financial Accountant, supporting the Group Financial Controller across the Movera group.

The Role:

  • Timely preparation of monthly financial reporting including P&L, B/S and Cashflow plus supporting analyses

  • Production of comprehensive reconciliations to support the group’s balance sheet

  • Preparation of regular and ad hoc financial and non-financial reporting to assist the PE owner and Board in the management of the business

  • Supporting the Group FC in the provision of information for audit purposes and the preparation of multiple company and group statutory accounts under FRS102

  • Supporting the Group FC in all aspects of tax reporting and compliance

  • Contributing to the development of the Movera financial accounting system and reporting therefrom

  • Liaising with subsidiaries’ finance and operations teams to align & maintain financial control

  • Supporting the Movera group finance team in due diligence activities as required in relation to potential acquisitions and investments

  • Support the finance and operations teams in budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Implement budget control and provide budget analysis to senior stakeholders

Core Skills:

  • Newly qualified ACA (Big 6 background preferred)

  • High attention to detail with a proactive and analytical mindset

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across teams

  • Integrity, ownership and the drive to see tasks through to completion
